Description
The double-track, electrified line 5830 Passau - Obertraubling is used by long-distance passenger rail transport (SPFV), rail freight transport (SGV) and local passenger rail transport (SPNV) trains. The line is part of the TEN corridor "Rhine - Danube". Tilting technology is available.
The section between Passau Gbf and Schalding currently has no signalling equipment for running on the opposite track with main signal and Zs6 (track change operation). In order to be able to carry out the necessary construction measures for the line equipment ETCS L2 Passau - Nuremberg with sufficient operational quality, the missing installation of a signalised track change operation in the indicated section is considered indispensable in advance.
The subject of the service was the extension of the existing control and safety technology for the establishment of the track change operation between Passau and Vilshofen with the following contents:
- Maximum speed 160 km/h
- Erection of the track control centre between Passau and Vilshofen
- Signal adaptation at Passau station (SpDrS60/59)
- Signal adaptation at Sandbach station (DrS2)
- Signal adaptation at Schalding station (SpDrS60)
- Signal adaptation Vilshofen station (SpDrS60)
- Extension of the train number signalling system
- Block adaptations
- Preparation of influence calculations for Passau station, Sandbach station, Schalding station and Vilshofen station
- Cable civil engineering and accompanying cable civil engineering
