Dr. Richard J. Vestner, Managing Director of Dorsch International Consultants GmbH, presented the aims and chances for German Water Partnership members in the field of „Water & Energy“ in a moderated panel discussion at the GWP’s annual conference on June 4th 2013 in Berlin (picture above, sitting in the centre).
At the beginning he exemplified these in a short speech about a Dorsch International project in Jordan, the “Energy Efficiency Program”. Dr. Vestner also mentioned the challenges, which are to be expected in the international project business.
At the same time he also emphasized the new opportunities of private sector participation, which are not being used sufficiently. For this purpose, adequate financing models – “bankable solutions” - are available.
